Well we went and did it. We would like to introduce the three new members of
our family.

Princess Gracie - a 1.5 year old grey lop (the shelther said she was a
Holland but she looks too big for that, she's probably 8 pounds or more).

Napoleon - a 7 month old chocolate mini rex.

Teddy - a 7 month old seal point (not sure of the breed but he's only 2.5
pounds).

We had planned to get a sixth rabbit after getting Precious ( that was
Honey), but with Precious passing it brought up down to 5. We have become
good friends with the couple at the shelter. They are amazing - they started
this in their home to look after all small animals and birds. They have
adopted a number of the rescues themselves and have decided that any not
adopted will stay with them too.

Debbie loved Napoleon as soon as she saw his picture. He is a looker. The
shelter kind of asked if we would consider tsking two. We talked about it
and said that if they could do all they were doing then we could make room
for another - Gracie. We were originally drawn to the dwarfs but Precious,
Honey and now Gracie have certainly changed our opinion - those bigs buns
are beautiful.

In the midst of all this, we saw a post on a Classifieds website. They were
getting rid of Teddy because their son was highly allergic. They had
rescused him themselves from a family member because he was being neglected
and they hated to have to give him up. He's a cutie. So we figured we could
give him a good home too.

Although we planned on one we ended up with three but like I told Debbie if
my mom could look after 8 kids then we could handle 8 buns (I think, LOL).
They are all a joy and certainly enrich our lives. I think we will stop at
eight. Now if we could bond some of these little critters, it would be
great. I think we may have luck with Honey and Bugsy but we'll see.

Profiles and pictures to go on BunSpace in the near future.
