Has anyone heard from Petrina about how she is doing and Mui is progressing? Thanks Carla, Mui's appetite up and down all thru these few weeks, I am getting better from big big flu...... Mui seems trying her best. We have visted vet almost everyweek. She has got a wound from small to big at her back, vets told me it was reaction from the strong injection which has not absorbed totally into her body and passed to another area under her skin. It looks yellow at the middle and small, and then becoming bigger. She is quite clean and i clean her vet bed everyday. I have heard a few times with similar case from my friends' rabbits before, they gave bicillin or another nasal injection. But not all buns have the same reaction. Vets said usually it will happen on weaker and thinner buns. I wash her wound two times everyday. And it is 60% recovered. Her eye, left one, one day morning suddenly closed, usually she would have tears all around if it is infection. I opened it up and see, and found some pus like stuff inside. Now, giving tears drops, seems better. We will stop the drop in a few days and see. If she still have this, probably may be the tooth problem. Then, we may need to think if it is good to sedate her, due to her brain problem. Gut problem, very very soft poo....so...trying to encourage her to eat more hay...and clean on her diet first. These are the new problems. I am trying hard to save her and sometimes she really looks to live happliy and lean her head to me for kisses and love and asking for vegies. Sometimes, she looks tired. I will see what I can do for her and talk with vet again and again. Another Typhoon is coming tomorrow. Hope everything will be better and she will get better. I know, if one day, she is too tired to go on, I will see what decision to make. Now, just trying my best. Those things are all somewhat connected. She almost needs an MRI or Ultrasound of her skull. Mui might benefit from bicillin for deep infection. Did they take a swab of the puss to culture? Brownie has that skin lesion when he was on Baytril injections for a long time. Our prayers are with you. John 1:12-13 Arlette, Three of the vets refused to do that. I already spent over HK$10k and still a long road to go. There is no puss now and they refused to have culture or sedation on her. They are already the no 1 rabbit vet in HK. What can I do? I am in financial problem and trying to be careful on every part and her gut is not well all the time. I asked for Bicillin and they injected one on her and they said no more is needed. I feel very helpless and hopeless. I am not vet, and i cannot ask my vet to do anything, only ask for their opinion. I am trying hard to explain and do anything on her with special care.. Pls understand I feel very bad and hard...
