Don't know if you remember my customer's bun Bailey who I posted photos and
a vid about...well, she is the only bun in my life at the moment.

Frighteningly a couple of weeks ago, I got an emergency call from her people
that she had fallen down their basement stairs. I went over and she had hurt
her leg and was in a lot of pain. They were able to get her to take a
metacam douse craisin.

Since she had never been to a vet, I was able to get her in with Cocoa's vet
for the next day. Thankfully, she had only sprained and bruised her leg and
is fine now. During her recuperation period, she was allowed to roam freely
on the first floor of the house. To my surprise, she was out and running
around when I got to their house to clean. Awwww, she came right over to me
and gave me a chinning on my nose. I love when she does that :)
Oddly, she hasn't chewed anything except their cell phone charge cord...he
he he. I've warned them that other things may follow once she gets very
comfortable and bored with her surroundings. We'll see if they heed my
advice to keep her busy. She's also been piddling in the closet, they
thought it was just water!! ROTFL!! Lesson two: brown stain = bunny
pee...hahaha

Anyway, I began cleaning while Bailey checked out the vacuum and why I was
moving her shredded newspaper. She's used to the sound of the vacuum, but as
I started it up, she didn't care about the big noisy machine at all and just
followed me and kept getting in front of the floor foot. I think she was
sort of playing with it. It was funny until she piddled in the closet and I
ran the vacuum through it! :0

Shortly afterward, her people came and put her back into her cage...awww, we
were having such fun! LOL

So that's one of the saga's of Bailey bunny :)

Thanks ML,
Yes, it's nice to have one bun in my life, and I don't have to pay for her
vet bills! She is pretty cute that one.

I think Bailey's people better put a litter box in the closet. It sounds
like she's made that her spot. I bet if you close the closet she finds a
different spot. My boys have one litter box in the kitchen. And the
second litter box in the sitting room with their huge three-story cage.
When they are in the living room the cage door is always open. Most of
the time however, they go back to the kitchen to do their business.

You're exactly right Professor...I did tell them that they may as well face
the facts and put a second litter box in the closet, but do you think they
listen?? "Oh no, we'll keep the back porch door closed."
"Really? You'll perfectly remember to do that each and every time??"
"Oh yes" heads nodding....*Arlette rolls eyes*

They get me to trim her nails, they call me up when there are emergencies,
but do they listen to any of my advice?? Not most of the time...LOL
Silly people, tricks are for rabbits. :)
