I went to view the newsgroups today and I have lost you all. I can't get any newsgroups at all in July and I can only view messages from you lot on 01 and 02 June. Are you still there or have I got a problem with my group settings. I have checked all my settings, compacted, deleted reset. I have even unsubscribe left it a while then gone back in again & resubscribed. I've emailed tech help @ tiscali but awaiting reply from them, but seeing as your such a wiz with computer things have you got any ideas what could be the problem????? Are you still there or have :: I got a problem with my group settings. :: Jackie Have you tried resetting the local file? in OE, right click on the newsgroup in the lefthand pane>properties>local file>reset>click 'OK' when the warning comes up>click 'compact'....this will delete all locally cached posts from your PC and start from fresh...OE throws a wobbly if you don't do this with your groups every now and then, I do it with all mine every month....if you don't, OE gets 'clogged' with partial threads and posts from months ago and starts to run out of memory.
