Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a pet rat (I've had 8 and counting). I'm
located in the San Francisco Bay Area (specifically, Los Altos) and
have not had any luck at any local pet stores in my area.

Anyone know of any local sources for pet rats? I'm looking for a young
female rat, non-albino.

Thank you, Kathy K.

How about adopting a rescue rat?  Rattie Ratz is located in Woodside,
CA, pretty close to you, I believe.  We got our most recent guys
from one of the rat moms who fosters some for them.  It's a really
wonderful organization, which I can't recommend enough.

Best of luck.  :)
