i picked up two new boyrats from kim of kim's ark rescue yesterday.
<http://www.kimsarkrescue.org>
they're somewhere around a year old, both neutered, both pretty big
(650-700 gms i'd say, having not weighed them yet.) they were part of
a group of 8 males who were given up by their owner after her
allergies to them put her in the hospital for the third time.
the siamese is mario. he's beautiful. the picture doesn't really do
him justice. he's very friendly. he likes to he held upside down. he
is already bruxing for me.

the black berkie is luigi. he's very nervous. i can pick him up but he
fear poops. i guess he's been like this all along- he was very nervous
in his foster home as well. i'm hoping he'll warm up once he gets
comfortable being here and used to everything.

They are stunning looking rats. I've always admired Siamese and Luigi has a
beautiful coat. I'm sure the pooping will stop after he settles in and
realises what a good home he's in.

Ooooh, a Siamese. He is beautiful! I like how you included the "fear poop"
in the shot of Luigi. Kind of just where he's at right now (hee hee hee).
Congrats on your new additions!

Wow, nice pair of boys. They are lucky to have a mom like
you. I am so jealous that you could get them to hold still
long enough to stay in focus.

Aha! I see the tell tale sign in the picture! That fella reminds me of my
Sammy, rip, he had such a wonderful temperment and good nature -I bet this
guy will figure out pretty quick that he's safe and sound here and going to
get lots of squeezes!
