Hi Everyone.  I've not been able to catch up with the newsgroup as much as
normal, so thought I'd drop by whilst I have the chance.  One of my close
friends is very ill at the moment (widespread cancer) so I've been spending
most of the time with him at the hospital, doctors etc (he starts
chemotherapy next week so hoping and praying that will improve things for
him), and my dad and Grandma are ill too (why do these things always come in
threes?).  I've just not seemed to have time for anything.  I'm so sorry for
all those of you that have lost little ones, it's never easy.  And congRATS
to all the people with new additions (nearly weakened myself yesterday
buying rat food - there was a gorgeous dumbo just begging to be bought
o)  )

It's at times like this your pets offer you much needed comfort :o)

Scritches to all the fuzzies.

Hi Tracey, so sorry about all the sorrow surrounding you right now. It must
be so hard on you too, but good for you for being their support person.

Tracey, sorry to hear things are so difficult right now.  I had a family
situation a couple of months ago that kept me away from home, from the
newsgroups - just getting my husband to feed and play with the ratties took
all my spare concentration.  I can sympathize.  Take care of yourself -
we'll be here when you get back.  Watch out for those tempting pet stores!

Sorry to hear  of your troubles.  I too, wish your friend well and I am
sure your friend is blessed to have someone like  you in his life..:)
Kind thoughts are sent your way for you and your friend and family.

I agree totally about the love we get from our Pets in time of need.  I
often think they are more understanding than another human being can be
at times.

All the best,

Regards Kate
