I just noticed a lump in pinks leg. It's a bit close to her mammary glands. Can rats get mastitis? **Butterfly Hi Butterfly, I don't know if rats can get mastitis but i am guessing if the lump has come up quickly and it is around the mammaries the chances are it could be a tumour.The trouble with rats is that they can come up with all kinds of lumps and bumps so you really need to see your vet. > I just noticed a lump in pinks leg. If you want it removed you will need to get Pink to the vet as soon as possible. Pink has a better chance if the lump removal is during it's small phase. Good luck!
