We (ratties and I) return after an extended period without a computer.  Our
hearts and condolences go out to those who lost loved ones, healing light
and prayers for those who are sick, and congratulations to all who have
added to their families.

Our Mischief has lost the elder rat Piper, her son Quixter, and Beatrice.

Yesterday I took Laurie to the vet for respiratory noises, and it turns out
she has penumonia.  She came home with 2 antibiotics, Baytril and
Doxicycline.  Thankfully non of the other ladies has any symptoms.

Now to try to catch up with the messages in this newsgroup, along with the
other groups I read.

Welcome back Julia!

I'm so sorry to hear about your losses, it's never easy.

Sending healing vibes for little Laurie, may she make a good and quick
recovery from pneumonia.

Healing light and prayers for Berkley.

Laurie is going on 2 yrs., but the Dr says she's in good shape, other than
the pneumonia.  Thank God for the little things.

Hi Joanne..

It's sooo good to be back.  I've missed being here to read and participate.

Laurie is putting up a fight in taking her meds.  The Doxycycline must taste
nasty, even in Pina Colada mix... the Baytril is no problem.

No, you needn't say more... talking about Mischief!
