Could any one explain when I download the groups messages in the bottom left
corner of the screen it shows
452 messages 6 unread 496 not downloaded. What does the not downloaded mean.
I have my setting on download all messages I compact files every so often,
but does 496 mean I am missing all those amount of messages.
Confused Help!!!!!

The 496 you are not seeing are old posts, still on the server but probably
from months ago, I have 1,105 messages, 943 unread, 7423 not downloaded, if
you want to see them all, just click on 'headers' in your toolbar (OE6) and
this will get them, 300 at a time, they will be at the bottom if you have
your messages chronologically displayed (newest at the top)
