For some reason my news server went crazy and I haven't been able to connect
in days! AHH. My ratties are all doing well and they got a bunch of great
presents for Christmas. Santa went shopping at theratshop.com and they got
a wooden cage perch, treats, new lower-protein lab block and a "RATS"
magazine for mom (which has tons of pictures of sweet little rat babies).
They also got a "cage makeover" yesterday and had some things added,
removed, new towels to snuggle in, etc. They made out better than me.

It's good to be back.

Hi Meghan, good to have you back. I so hate it when servers go beserk
like that...
What lucky little guys your ratties are!! Mine got a bunch of fruity
nylebones.
That rat magazine is that a new edition? I'll have to go and check.

Oooh, the nylebones sound good. The RATS magazine I got is the Volume 3,
2005 version. The pictures in there are just GREAT! The other interesting
thing is there is an article in there on rat sexes etc. and spaying/neuting,
which features a quote by the vet whodid my Maggie's spay. I couldn't
believe it, because I thought that place was pretty small and out of the
way... but apparently this vet is a good exotics vet. Too bad he's 3.5
hours away.

I'm pretty sure it's the one I have, I'll have to go and read up on that
article. That's pretty great that you vet is featured there. Bummer he's
so far though.
I'll be getting LOTS of rattie toys, I got so many Petsmart gift cards
for Christmas. Woohoo!!
