my baby girl lydia is the cutest little fatty i've ever seen she is one
in a long line ratty pets... first they was ratty (i was young) then
ratty had babies, ratrat and templeton were the only two i was allowed
to keep, and even though the fictional character templeton (the rat
from charlotte's web) was a male character i later realised that my
temple (as she later became known) was a girl. then in my early teens
and due to an infatuation with the harry potter books came scabbers. He
died after only a few months and for christmas that year i got ruby and
reginald (who bred like... well you know) then was 3 boys Raziel
Gulliver and Lucifer. all of whom only recently all passed away aged 2
4 and 6. more recently Lillian-Rose was put down due to a hereditary
lump on her spine which in her 7th year (CRICKEY THATS OLD) caused her
back legs to stop working all together. she had given birth to 6 pups
in her first labour. Lydia of course now aged 2, Raziel who has
unfortunately passed away. Fanny who sucum to the next door neighbours
cat after escaping into the back yard. Tilly who lives quietly with my
granny in her retirement village. Penelope who was given as a christmas
gift to my best friend after losing a dog that november. And George who
choked on an earring he stole off my dresser... and now all i have left
is lydia and i love her very much

She sounds lovely, bless her heart. Wow, however do you manage to have such
long-living ratties? I've never had one yet that lived beyond three years
