Hi all,

My boyfriend is absolutely fascinated by dumbo rats and has never actually
seen one in the flesh before. Its his birthday soon and I was thinking of
maybe getting a couple to keep Binka and Checksum company. Are there any
breeders in or around the West Berkshire area of the UK? I can't really
travel so if there are any they'd have to be quite close to us.

Hi Kat. A couple of things you can try since you haven't had any
replies on here, try joining UKRats on Yahoo:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ukrats/?yguid=103071116

Wonderful friendly group, and by far the best UK based rat group
around.

Alternatively you can go to the NFRS website as I believe they have a
breeder's register, or could at least point you in the right direction
if you were to email them.

Hope that helps. It's a shame you can't travel, the best breeder I know
of is in Hampshire, and she breeds the most magnificent dumbos. Her
website is at www.ratmad.com

thanks for that :)

I've just done a search on Google and found a list of breeders on
ratster.com - there's a breeder called Arrencrest Rats in Reading, which is
perfect because that's where I live! Does anyone know anything about them
and/or how to contact them?
