We're at Day 12 now.

The babies' ears are lifting from their heads, there's definitely some
fur growing, and their eyes all have slits so they should be opening
them any day now.

The day before yesterday, I moved mom and the babies into the big cage
where Daisy has been staying for the last week and a half.

Things were a little bit tense in that first day - with some wrestling
and biting - but they seem to have settled down pretty well now. Peach
doesn't seem stressed out at all. In fact, she has built herself a HUGE
nest from a towel I had put into the cage for exploring. Peach has
definitely established herself as the dominant rat for now and 99% of
the time you'll find Daisy hidden away at the top of the cage in her
hammock. The hammock happens to be conveniently placed only a few inches
from the food and water dishes. It can be funny to watch when Peach is
getting a snack or a drink, because Daisy will stretch her front half
out of the hammock to watch her. One time, in fact, she pestered Peach
by stretching waaay out and nipping at her ears as she drank.

All in all, I think they're getting along okay.

That's funny, the ear nipping... good to hear all is working out.
