Hi all,

We made it to the Vets without Houdi managing to do his escape
thing..:)  My original Vet )from when I first had rats) is back from
having her kids.  WOOHOO  She was great with Houdi and Harry. She gave
them both a thorough going over.  Houdis bumble foot is being treated
with Trisul twice daily and she gave me stuff to lightly scrub his
bumbles.  Its called Hibiclens.  I have to wet a wad of cotton wall and
then dab some hibiclens on it and gently rub his back feet.  She says
it should clear in about 2 weeks and not to panic if the bumbles burst
and/or fall off.  ( about now I am feeling ill myself)..LOL. Harry has
good old Vibravet to take and he just licks that off your finger like a
good wee man.  We are also dosing them all for Mites as Harry has been
scratching around his neck again.  So fingers crossed all goes well for
my wee fellas. :))

As it was a hot day and a long drive they had grapes and watermellon.
By the time we got there their house was a mess with all the tissues
dyed purple.. Bless their wee piggy butts.

Kind regards to all.

BTW Joanne,  I gave my Vet the copy of the Medication Chart she was
thrilled.  She said she had some lists but was always glad of different
ones as well..:)

Geez....
 I can't believe I actually said Cotton Wall...ACK... and I am a
Librarian..OMG...  OK folks for the record I meant WOOL..LMAO.

For those interested the trip to the Vets for Two Ratties = 20 Dollars
for consultation  10 dollars for each guy..:)
Hibiclens 5 dollars. 2 Trisul tablets enough for 2 months of treatment
should he need it. 6.30 dollars and a tube of vibravet 23.30.  giving a
grand total of $54.60.

I think this is a good price what do you all think?

That's it! I'm moving to NZ!!!!
I did the currency converter because I figured you are writing in NZD so
for Canada that would be $39.73 for Americans this means: $34.07 and for
the UK kids: 19.62 pounds!! Unless of course You've already changed it
over to USD. So if it's $54.60USD, That's it! I'm moving to NZ
anyways...lol It would have cost me for sure well over $100CAD.

Yup Joanne that was in NZ dollars...LOL.  Sorry Guys.  I forgot to
mention that Harry has a skin infection which was actually in the
process of spreading..:(  It looks like it is starting to heal.  BTW NZ
is a good country to live in..:))

Well there you go...LOL.  Its the start of Autumn now and its getting
quite chilly now..:(  The Ratties are starting to get blankies in their
house at night for added warmth.  We didn't get much of a summer at all
this year.  It came and went and I am still waiting for it...LOL
