Interesting. I've never thought about the red, puffiness caused by rattie
claws as being an allergy. Was just a part of being a rat slave, to me.
Might give an antihistimine a try, pills or cream. <makes a note to buy
Benadryl cream at work tomorrow>

I know its caused by a bacteria that grows under their nails, as a result of
walking in their own fecease.
I know the missus is allergic to everything else on the planet, nuts,
fruits, grains, etc..

Dander is old skin scales which are constantly shed and are small enough
to be airborne
But also saliva and urine contain the proteins that cause reactions from
our allergies.

Dictionary.com describes dander as "small scales from the skin, hair, or
feathers of an animal, often causing an allergic reaction in sensitive
individuals."
Think of it kind of like dust but made from animal rather than human tissue.
OT, but by the way, usenet protocol is a bit different from normal
emails. Here the preferred style is to reply below the quoted message
rather than above. (More convenient readers jumping in in the middle of
a discussion.)
