On thursday, Daisy decided to help me buy a new keyboard. I had left her
unattented for all of five minutes and she chewed the cable right off of
my keyboard.

Right now I'm using a clunky old IBM as a stand-in. I swear this thing's
as old as I am.

I love those old IBM keyboards! They're way better than any of them modern
"light-weight" Logitech keyboards.

There are still some good keyboards. Trust me. :)

I think I'll get a keytronics silent keyboard, maybe.........

I was thinking for a minute that maybe I should get a wireless keyboard
this time around. But then again, there are a dozen wires on my computer
anyway so what's the point? I'm never going to be able to rat-proof the
computer.

At my company we sell mostly Key Tronic ErgoForce keyboards. These are basic
but very robust keyboards, I like them a lot.

Thought about it. Decided it wouldn't be worth it. Everything else is
wired so I should just keep an eye on the rats. ;)

Mine have always favoured the modem cables, although the last one to be
munched on was the scanner cable.
