Hello all,
One of our new rats was not looking very good. She was hunched over
with a rough coat. I called PetSmart where I got her and they said to
bring her in to see their on site vet. I took her in and by the time I
got there, she was gasping. They put her on oxygen, but she died
overnight. The vet said it was pneumonia. I feel terrible. The vet said
that the stress of coming to a new place may have triggered a myco
related infection. I didn't even get a chance to name her.
Agatha Scrat and Lindanelli are doing well and are getting quite
spoiled with treats in my attempts to socialize them. Does anyone think
they are in danger of getting pnemonia because of the other one?
Thanks,
Kim

I'm so sorry... I would keep an eye on the other two, just in case they
have the same but chances are, they will be just fine.

I'm so sorry you lost one of your new rats. Just keep a close eye on the
other two, hopefully they will be ok.
