It is with a heavy heart that I have to put this post on your group.
I have 6 beautiful does, all with wonderful temperaments that I need to
re-home.
They range from 7 months to 18 months, are very happy in their colony
and ideally need to be re-homed together.
They come complete with a 'Jenny' cage and all their accessories ie
toys, feeding bottles etc.

I have recently taken a new job that takes me away from home and am
unable to give them the time and care that they need.

I live in Nantwich, Cheshire.

How long have you kept rats for?

Please keep us informed of what you plan & what happens. I'm not sure if
we're in a position to help, but I'd not want to see you have to split
them up...

Do you have transport? How far would you be willing to travel?

On a related note, does anyone here have experience of
introducing/merging two established colonies? I don't think I've read
about that before.

I think she's posting through Google Groups. Oddly they show two & only
two posts in this thread, both from darlavamp, the second sent ten
minutes after the first. It gives an address correction of
alexsemailadd@btinternet.com (you can also see that address in the
header to the first post).

For some reason the second post hasn't made it to my server yet, nor
yours. Hence this post of mine which you might get to see before
darlavamp's. HTH.

I am a veterinary nurse and have kept rats for many years.
I am willing to travel a reasonable distance.
I have introduced colonies and there has never been any problem with
the does but the bucks have shown slight agression.
