Hi all!  I've not visited the group for quite a few weeks as we've had my
fiance's daughter staying with us (she's over from Ontario, Canada, where
she emigrated to a couple of years ago with her mum and step-family) for the
last month so life has been all go!  I'd just like to say a big welcome to
all the newbies in the group, and all the new little furry additions in your
homes.  My condolences too, to anybody who has lost their little buddies, I
know how hard it is.

I'm missing my rats terribly.  It's been a few months now since I lost my
last rattie and have been ratless for the first time in years.  I will have
rats again one day for sure, the time isn't right just yet though.  In the
meantime I'll keep reading all your posts about your little ones' adventures
and antics, and I always enjoy the pics!

Anyway off now to do a bit more post reading - can't believe there are
around 250 posts I haven't read yet!

I needed extra strength, lol, whilst my fiance's daughter was with us as she
kept asking if we could get some more rats - she's desparate for a couple of
pet rats but her mum won't let her have them as she is scared of them and
hates their tails (I hear so many people say they don't like rattie tails).
They have all sorts of animals, but she won't allow rats :o(

It sounds beautiful where they live in Ontario (the town's called
Burlington, quite near Toronto), I think it's miles away from where you are
though Joanne - I remember mentioning it before and I think you said you
were over the other side.

Oh, Joanne, I remember you saying once that your son suffered from TS, over
here a Tourette's sufferer, Pete, has just won Big Brother (a reality tv
show) http://www.tsa.org.uk/ - he has helped bring so much positive
awareness to this condition and the public absolutely love this guy.  Just
wondered if you had heard about him.

Burlington is about 5.5 hours away from me. They are right on the Lake
Ontario, it's just beautiful there!!

That's wonderful!!! TS has such a bad reputation mostly as the cursing
disease which couldn't be more false. Only 4% of the sufferers have
coprolalia (involuntary cursing)
Anytime there's good PR about TS, it's always a step forward. :)
