Well tonight we really moved in a positive direction, whilst watching TV in
the lounge I decided to pop Mr Billy Bears cage on the floor and touch him
using the toothbrush, he didnt really like that and  tried biting the
toothbrush a fair few times but then I turned it into a little game and Mr
Billy Bear starting chasing the toothbrush around the cage, he really seemed
to be enjoying that play and then after the play I tried touching him again
and he would let me touch the top of him and also sritch him belly with it,
I really was so proud of him. I finished the sesson on a good note but
decided to take away his hidie places for a while so that he can't get away
from me anymore. I popped him in his usual place and continued watching my
TV. It was then feed time for the boys so I fed Coco and Ziggy the newer
boys of the family and I fed Mr Tiddles, Mr Chips and Waffles as usual. Then
I took the rattie food and the cheerios, I didnt put the food in Billys cage
straight away but instead thought I'll be brave and try feeding Billy
cheerios from the hand, usually he wouldnt even take food from my hand but
he took the cheerios and came back for more. I'm so proud of him!!!!

Hi Keith.

I've not had many problem ratties, I've had one or two but Mr Billy Bear is
definitely the most challening guy i've ever had. I do think it may well be
a male thing with him and I do feel that carstrating him may make him better
so I am going to look into it. I had a quote yesterday and they quoted me
£53.00 so i'm going to shop around a bit more.
