Hi Peeps

Wondering if anyone has any useful information out there to offer me. I have
just taken in a 6 week old puppy that was absolutly riddled in fleas and a
bit lifeless for a puppy. There are still 9 puppies left at the house and
i'm working on those but this little lady was the worst and needed immidiate
attention. Myself and others have reported the condition of these dogs and
their mum to the RSPCA but we all seem to be hitting a brick wall as so far
the RSPCA still havent come out to look at these dogs. Anyway my questions
are, does this puppy need suppliment milk or not, she is eating solid foods
but I was wondering if she needs suppliments? Also how can I get rid of
these nasty fleas, I have bathed her with flea shampoo and I have also
treated her with stuff from the vets, I have manged to get rid of hundreds
already but there are still loads left. Any advice appritiated

Hi April,
RSPCA are useless W****rs they are never interested in anything at all
around Northamptonshire. We have an Animals In Need here that rescue animals
wild and pets. If you have anything like that by you I would ring them.
There was a situation in a ladies house in Northampton the RSPCA only got
involved after he tore them off a strip for ignoring peoples concerns for a
Mum Cat and 7 kittens, they were at deaths door by the time he got there and
riddled with fleas. If you can afford it I would take the pup to vet just
incase she is suffering from anaemia they are very lifless and unhappy when
they have it as the fleas have literally sucked the lifes blood.
Keep us posted bless her, hope all goes well

Hi Jackie

A lady has just phoned me from a local rescue centre who is willing to take
all pups and mother tommorow, I have managed to presuede the owner to also
hand over mother so this christmas is just getting better and better. I have
managed to get most fleas out of the puppy I have and will also be letting
this one go to the animal recscue centre so that she can be back with mum
for a few more weeks. Ill keep you updated
