rat combinations

i have found that the combination of two neutered males plus a female seems
to be a great combo. there are no serious fights and they seem to groom each
other more often than usual.

I think each grouping really has to do with rattie personalities.
I used to have two separate groups of rats, then I did a big intro and
I've noticed that some of the rats became much more friendly and happier
when before they were skittish and worried.
Of course by having your males neutered you take away their hormonal
stress which then allows the males to enjoy their lives instead of
having to be macho all the time. Glad to hear all is well with your trio.
