Hi, I have two ratties, peanut butter and jelly... both hooded, one black
hooded, the other brown... jelly is the black one...

anyways, I've only had them for a few weeks, they were about the size of
small mice when I got them, now they are doubled that size and I've recently
gotten a larger cage for them... they love it...

yes I spoil my pets more than myself... I also have three fuzzbutt buns...
and one black lab, who seems to like the ratties when they crawl around on
her and sniff her...

I think they enjoy being spoiled... the little girls next door come over all
the time to play with them and let them crawl around on them... *neat
kids*...

so I thought I'd browse through this ng, I"ve of course done a lot of
research before getting the ratties *both male* and will likely keep on
being a rat slave... *sigh*... they look at you like they need the
attention... and are lost and forlorn without it...

but I'm getting paid today, so I'm off to purchase more toys for the buns
and ratties...

and perhaps a new dingle ball for the dog...

*G*

just thought I'd introduce myself...

Welcome to the group!!
Your babies, all of them, bunnies and doggie included sound wonderful
and very lucky to have you.
Any chance of seeing pics? You could upload them to a place like
Webshots or photobucket and give us a link.
Oh... and I'd love to see pics of your bunnies!!
Great to have you here. :)

Hi Carrie, welcome to the group!  Dogs and rats... two of my favourite
animals! I've never kept rabbits... yet!  Just had a little look at your

helpful as on the  Bunny group.  Lots of scritches to your fuzzy butts.

Hee hee hee... I'll assume you mean my pets!!!  *G*...

Thus far I really enjoy this group... I found the dog newsgroup I was on was
very... uhm... nazi like?...

my fuzzies are always quiet after I get up in the morning... its almost
disturbing... almost... *G*

Hi Carrie,

Sorry for the late reply, but welcome to the group. Your rats are very
cute. Its great that your dog is so tolerant of them.

thank you for the welcome...

my dog is a seizure response dog... technically we are only allowed caged
animals here... *G*... darn them for telling me that... I'm really enjoying
my ratties... peanut butter seems to suffer from rat add, and jelly seems a
bit neurotic.. it looks to be the makings of a long relationship... heh...
my dog doesn't like cameras... shys away from them, but I'll try and snap
some shots of her nosing the rats sometime in the nearish future...

right now they are trying to drag in a pillowcase into their cage that we
put over top so they could have extra privacy...

smart rats when you watch them do it... *G*
