I send you a hug of understanding. I lost Bo a few days ago and now her
sister is ailing from the same. I am down to 4, soon to be three.
They really are the best friends, aren't they. Enjoy the ones still with
you.
Love,
Lynn kitty

yeah, I wasn't too sure how to answer the question, but my rat sitter was
going to do a complete autopsy on her, as she use to do half a million of
them when she worked for the university, breeding, euthanising and
conducting autopsies after experiments upon them.
how would you take that?

How do other rats grieve the loss of their alpha rat?
they all seem a bit depressed I think.

I find that most will mope around but some will even get into scuffles
because the alpha is not there to keep them in line. But it soon settles
down. Give them extra cuddles!!
