Hi all,

At last we have a companion for Mater. His name is Silber. He is a
beautiful pale grey colour. We got him from the Pet Shop. They didn't
know how old he was, as he was one of a litter taken from the SPCA. I
don't believe they were all from one litter though. There was a Silver
Fawn Hoodie, a Black and White Hoodie and this beautiful wee man who is
the image of my Harry. He is certainly a well rounded wee man with a
placid easy going nature. He is the first ever Rattie to stick his head
out of his box on the way home in the car, to eat Fruit Ice Cream...LOL.
Then to have a jolly good wash.. Yes, I am hooked !!! When we got
home I checked on Mater who stuck his head out of the igloo. I invited
him out for "play time" by this time we had Silber wrapped in a blankie.
Mater smelt him straight away and ran to him... It was lovely to see.
The only thing I am sorry for is the fact that it couldn't have
happened a lot sooner. The boys are cuddle up asleep in their house now
and will come out for playtime when there house is washed out tonight.
Mater isn't even 1 year old so I couldn't leave him as an only child, it
would have been cruel to him. So its all ended out well :) I have
posted some pics I took with my cell phone on the way home LOL

Hi Kate! Huge congRATS to you and Mater... he's a doll and a wonderful
addition to the rat house. I'm sure Mater would tell you, it's better
late than never. :)

The pale gray color is what is known as "Blue" I can not tell you is if he is a
"Russian" or an "American" Blue. :-)
I have a Blue named "Prong" and when his brother pass suddenly the two new
friends I got for him were excepted very fast. Maybe some thing in the Blue make
them take to new friends faster than others. Anyone else have this happen with a
Blue?
