Oh honey, I am so sorry. I hope that my little Winston is saying hello to
her. He loved a good nest.

Cheryl went to get all our lot out this evening & found that Evy, who'd
had her second birthday a couple of weeks ago, was dead. It looks like
she died in her sleep, maybe a stroke.

At least she was with her friends. I saw her this morning & she was
asleep in the top hammock with four of the others.

I've not posted here in a while & it might be a while before I check
back, but I kinda felt compelled to post this. It's sort of a habit now.

Evy was a funny girl, a black rex who was probably second in the
hierarchy. She'd happily keep the others in their place, but with people
was a bit shy but then very affectionate. She was also one of our most
prolific nest builders. I think that was her favourite pastime.

She'll be missed.

I'm so sorry Michael and Cheryl.
With her being so high in the hierarchy, you could expect a bit of
disorder until they get over their grief and settle on who gets that spot.

I'm so sorry to hear about Evy. It sounds as though she passed peacfully
without suffering.

My thoughts are with you. It's so hard. Good luck.
