I don't feel too bad. It's just as well. She had also lost a lot of
weight in the last couple of weeks. She had also been acting strangely -
mostly keeping to herself in the hammock, and occasionally going schizo,
chewing on the bars of the cage. I'd let her out, and she'd hop around
the room  exploring before eventually lying on a shoe or something to
rest. She had been eating a lot less than normal and had lost a lot of
weight. I think her lungs were in bad shape from her last myco
infection, as she was always breathing hard.

It seemed like she was having another myco infection, so I was giving
her Baytril. That's when she panicked, had her worst gasping attack yet,
and died.

I'm so sorry to hear that. It may have been her time, but it's never
easy.

It certainly isn't. I've ben consoling myself by telling myself that it
would have been an ugly decline over the next couple of weeks rather
than that she may have lived that much longer or more....

I'm so sorry about Daisy. I hate seeing animals gasping away, having
had asthma, I know how unpleasant this can be. I wonder if the baytril
got in her lungs?

Hugs,
Dewi
