I can see now why it is recommended two people build it.
It's not that the parts are heavy , it's just it may have took me a bit less
time if I had a couple of more hands :-)
Worth it though, I am very impressed, it is going to be so easy to clean :-)
Art and Tar want one now :-)
Poor Tar will need adjustments as his back legs are not very good now :-(
The boys are not in it yet as I am going to make some hammocks etc to fit
it, the ones I made for the furet tower are huge so I can cut them down. And
I have some great bright coloured fleece ordered from ebay.

LOL! Where are the pics? :) Sounds like you're going to have fun
decorating it.
I ordered a similar cage called a Ferret kingdom which is locally made
and a bit cheaper. I'm not sure how much it differs, but the doors are
the same and it splits in half. The spacing between the bars is
smaller - which is a good thing. Can't wait to get it, but it won't
arrive until early November.

I can't wait until the fleece I ordered arrives :-)
They love the cage, they were a bit confused at first when I put them in but
not as confused as they
were when they moved cage the last time.
I never washed their plastic beds last night as I wanted it to smell like
their cage.
Our electicity kept flickering on and off while I was setting things up and
I had candles lit all round
just in case.
I seen the ferret kingdom while I was browing round looking for ideas on
what to put in the ferret nation.
You will love it, it is very similar to the ferret nation. The fully opening
doors make things so easy (except persuading them to
stay on LOL) Not long to November now :-)

I totally love my ferret nations but it was a pain to put together.
You can adjust the shelves to make them lower, that's what I did for my
older rats.

It was a pain all right, I took the doors off of the front panals and ended
up putting my head
through to hold up the bottom wire panals while attatching the front to the
wires.
If I had waited a few hours I would have had help putting it
together................
but coudn't wait that long :-)
It was well worth it though.
Tars back legs are really bad, he drags them sometimes, he also has a tumour
under one of his front legs,
I don't think he is fit enough to have it removed :-( He is 2 and a half and
with him not moving about alot
he is quite heavy, I have him on a diet to see if loosing some weight may
make things a bit easier for him.
Luckily he loves fruit, especially melon.
