Don't suppose anyone knows of any rat breeders in switzerland or
southern germany?

we want to get branden a mate, but really dont want to get another
from a pet shop, went in one today, they said they had male rats,
showed me the cage, 5 of em in there, first 3 were female, other 2
couldent be caught so maybe they were the males!!! got bit by one of
the females too... first time i've ever been bitten by a rat!

they just werent used to being handled at all, and ages ranged from a
guess at 7 weeks to fully grown... yup the shop also sold snake :(

i tried a rat club in switzerland, but turns out they are for
protection of rats, and dont know of any breeders in the country.

Those poor females were probably pregnant as well which would explain
the bite. I so hate pet stores. :(
