That's so sad Mandie, I'm very sorry.

I almost felt like I knew them both, thanks to your postings in this
group. They obviously were loved greatly.

He had such a wonderful life with you.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments, it really makes a difference.
It's been a pretty weird day here, packing away the cage and sorting things
out. Removing Tars stash behind the settee for the last time . Picking up
the remaining tassels from behind the settee, LOL he never left one intact.
Definatly the end of an era :-(

Behn, Fhean and Doowie are going to be moving from my bedroom into the
living room, but they will not be free range until they are a bit older,
they still get the run of the hall but there are too many places in the
living room to hide. When they are older and have better recall they too
will have the fun of the living room but not the fun of pulling the tassels
off the settee as there are none left.

I am sorry, dear one. He was a member of my "Rat Family", that lives in my
heart. He will be missed.

Tar had cuddles and treats last night as always. Gave him his bedtime hugs
and said good night, when I woke I found he had died in the night. All
though he did have problems this was totally unexpected and a huge shock.
He is buried next to his brother Art, they never were apart until Art went
on October 31st.
He is sorely missed and will always be loved.

Kind thoughts are sent to you Mandie. I would imagine that would be a
lovely reunion and moreso at Xmas.  May the coming days bring you
comfort in knowing they are together and that you have lovely memories.
