Question About The Bridge

Just a question about people who post that their beloved rattie has gone to
the bridge.

By bridge do you mean a separate place other than Heaven, a place within
Heaven, or Heaven itself?

I am by no means wanting to start a debate on religion, just curious to
everyones personal opinion.

Thanks!

[This is paraphrased from a couple of poems and more than a few
websites]

The Rainbow Bridge is at the end of a lush Meadow, just this side of
Heaven (or whatever your place of eternity is called).

All animals who have passed away await their owners in the Meadow.  When
an animal reaches the Meadow it is restored to full health and never
knows pain, sickness or hunger again.  All animals in the Meadow live
together in harmony.

One day an animal or group of animals will sniff the air, prick up their
ears and race to the Rainbow Bridge and joyously greet their Owner.

Then the beloved pets and their Owner all cross The Rainbow Bridge
together.

For me ... The Bridge is the place where I plan on going.  I know they
are loved and cared for by someone who loves them as much as I and will
continue to do so until it is my time to make the transition and take
care of them all once again.  For me .. it is Heaven.

Regards Kate

For me, the bridge is the waiting area. Ever seen the movie 'A Matter
of Life and Death' with David Niven? There's the bit where his copilot
is waiting for him to arrive, other soldiers are coming up the
escalator and checking in, but he's waiting there. I see the bridge as
the same sort of principle, but with loads of space for them to play
with each other. I don't believe they *have* to wait for us, and I'm
fairly certain that a lot of them do cross and just choose to wait for
us inside the Summerland, but the bridge is there for them if they
want to wait. Oh, and don't forget the chocolate fountail that's there
especially for ratties who were chocoholics in life, lol.

I've had a few experiences where some of my pets have visited me and
I've seen them out of the corner of my eye, then they're gone, and
it's those who I believe are either the ones waiting for me, or
they've been waiting and have popped back to see what the hold up is,
lol.

I hope it's unisex & no one has Athlete's Foot. See you there.
