Rescued a large (fat 5-7mo) black hooded female. Apparently she was
left in an appartment for 1-2 weeks. Poor thing, I know. Not my first
rescue BUT she is the first rat I've had that was not just a biter but
an agressive biter.
So what to do I've had her isolated from the other girls who are young
(3mo) for the obvious health concerns. She seems like she might get
aggro but what do I know? Just not sure how to proceed...everyone is
on the nibbly side.
It's just girls at the house now...
Belle
Cellestina (cell)
Bertha...she's a big girl for her estimated age.

I'm just replying because I read your post but I don't have any answers.
I'm dealing with super aggressive Bernard, who is sort of calming down,
maybe????? Any advice anyone can give Keith I would find useful too.
It's been very quiet on here.

You could say that again. I've an older larger cage to move her into
that "should" give her room to run off that lard...yeah her size
earned here a "Bertha"
