My ratties do sort of a hiccupping thing when I pet them. They aren't grinding their teeth, but their bodies sort of jerk in a rhythmic way. It seems to be something they do when they are content. Anyone know the name of this? Grandma Jo Bruxing is when they grind their teeth. I haven't seen our rats hiccup during that. However, if we wake them up in the middle of the day, almost all of them will start hiccuping. We call them "ratcups."
