Today I may meet with injustice, ignorance, denial, all of which are due
entirely to the other's lack of knowledge of good and evil and the
difference thereof.
how nice to hear Cairo is feeling better!
And how lucky scared little Niles is to have found a home with you!
I'm sure that with patience and love he will come to trust you.

Heehee, Cairo knew he was about to be prodded and groped. He needed to look
good for that. It's so good that his breathing is good.
Now, he's ready for the surgery.
I'm sure sweet shy Niles will come around. My sister had an extremely shy
boy like that so she would make sure she took him out every day and kept him
in her sweater. He's somewhat more brave now, but he sure love his sweater
cuddles now. :)

I have thought about Rat Napping Niles... though I am unsure wether its a
good idea to physically remove him from his wee house..??..What say you
all???..LOL
Regards Kate.
( Boss asked me last night if I suffered from heat rash or similar... it
took me a while to work out that he was referring to all the scratches on my
chest ..LOL.... I may tell him what causes it one day....maybe....)..LMAO

LOL... yep, got the same rash here...
I think I would give it a try, rat napping Niles that is... see how he takes
just cuddling in your shirt. This may make him feel more secure.
You will know if he is too stressed out for the caper.

Wow, thought I was the only one with that particular rash! You might think
twice about telling where it came from unless your boss understands the
whole we-love-rats-gotta-have-um thing! I made the mistake of wearing
something that showed the rat-love and when my co-workers found out where it
came from they thought I was even crazier than before (they've lost any
hope for me since I decided to keep all 20 babies!).
I agree w/Joanne about the caper. I also have had some of my girls take
many months to be cuddly just because they are independent little cusses!
Then all of the sudden they decide it's time.
Good luck. Janine

I often suffer from rat-rash. And when my two couples had 26 babies
between them, it got a whole lot worse. People think I'm crazy for
having them and putting myself through the horrible rash. People with
rabbits do it, why can't we do it with rats?

I always have that rash too! Drives me mad at times itching, but just can't
resist cuddlin' those wee critters all the time...
