Our rat "Spot" has had breathing difficulties almost fixed by Baytril.
She has had to go back to the vet since then because the problem is bad
again, and she's lost a lot of weight (not eating).

Apparently, She has Pneumonia. I had that disease when I was about 5. It
took an oxygen tent in hospital to fix me up, and I nearly died. How Spot
has stood up to this illness, I have no idea!

Anyway, she's had an injected antibiotic plus another course of baytril,
and things are looking good - she can't stop eating!

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks - Looks like she's recovered now, but her breathing is still
laboured - most likely scar tissue (vet says that her lungs are clear).
