So last night I was cleaning the girls cages out and I stuffed the 3 girls
in the babies cage. That went great! next i put all 3 back in their  cage
and put the baby in there as well. Needless to say Waffles my husky rat
decided that since she is the alpha female that she would tell this wee one
who the boss was. I come back from dumping their litter out, not even 2 feet
away and the wee one's ear is bleeding. I sheeking in horror! this has never
happened before. So obviously removed the wee one from the big bad's cage
and cleaned her up. Looking at her ear today i notice there is a chunk
missing out of her ear (frowns). I am hoping that my two husky's will get
along, because my one hairless' is being put down. (frown again). Waffles
and Brandi are still fighting for the alpha status in the cage. That has
been going on for about 2 months now and i suspect it will continue for
sometime. I have tried the vanilla and peanut butter approach but gave up
with the peanut butter after we found out brandi is allergic. anyone have
any ideas? Should i try in a week with the wee one? outside the cage and in
neutral area's they are fine. Ive cleaned each cage throughly and even
traded them out of eachothers.

She'll definitely recover from the ear tear. I've got a couple of boys like
that.
What I would try: clean the "main" cage thoroughly, put new rat in first for
a good while and then add the other girls... watch closely. I bit of a
scuffle is normal. If there's fighting, then go back to intros in neutral
ground.
