At 3.10am tonight (or tomorrow morning, depending how you look at it)
there's a German-made film on channel five called A Rat's Tale - a love
story set in the rodent community beneath the streets of Manhattan. Thought
any night owls out there might be interested.

Based on the book by Tor Seidler, I'm guessing?  Great read.  Both my
daughter and I enjoyed it.  Maybe one of these days we can see the
film too.

Yep, that's the one. I take it you're not a Briton?

Nope, unfortunately (at least in this case) not.  :)

I turned over for it at eight minutes past and it had already started! I
HATE it when TV stations run early. I turned it off after watching it for
five minutes anyway. It was awful! :-) Sorry to have wasted anyone's time.

Was is that weird puppet thing? Or animation?  Just curious (but glad
to know I didn't miss anything good, really).   The book is still
worth checking out, though, for those with children or who enjoy
children's literature.

Really crappy puppets. the puppets were bad, and the puppeteers were worse!

Aww, such a shame.  I wonder if the author had much idea what they
were planning to do with it before he sold the rights?

Never mind we laughed when we saw the strings on the puppets!!
It could have been a good film and that was the main thing!

Thanks anyway :o)
