Ok I have posted a pic of each of the babies.... Just don't ask me which is
which... I can only tell by the amount of pink at the tip of their tails but
they were hiding them and I didn't want to stress them out by moving
them...:) They all get on well and the Babies have chosen to sleep with the
big kids as they have a wee log house of their own that the big boys can't
get into...LOL One big happy family..(so far)..:))

Oh... hehehe... too tired I guess. FOUND THEM!!!
So sweet!!!! but my eyes kept going to the beautiful fawn in the back...
just like my Russo.
The babies both look to be agouti. Beautiful color, are their stomachs
whitish, where their top color kinda goes whitish towards the stomach? Am I
making sense? lol

Yes Joanne you are making sense...LOL. One of them is lighter in colour
than the other and one definitely has the white tummy thing going on..LOL..
Berkshire?...
Well I thought Amadeus was a wee &*(#$&^ to me but he gave Hannah a hard
time last night..LOL. He pooped himself silly down her top and she said it
stunk..LMAO I should feel honoured I suppose... he hasn't gone to the loo
on me at all..:) You are in love with Africa... the Ginger and White tubby
bum...LOL. I thought he was my Alpha until I caught Isaac fluffing up his
fur and trying to moon his butt at Merlin.... Its like watching stroppy
teenagers at times. He was so bad the other night that he had to have "Time
Out" until he calmed down. He has been Ok since though.... I have no idea
what he thinks he's up to..LOL. Have a good day all and scritches to the
fuzzy butts that rule your roost..

The one with the whitening stomach is definitely an agouti. The Agouti has
to have the whitening stomach, not exactly white but whitening.
Africa is a Fawn hooded and a doll. ;)
Here's to peace in the rat palace!!

Hi Kate,
The boys are real cuties but I have had a look at your new superduper cage
WOW!
But silly question how do you keep the wee from soaking into the wood, my
boys piddle on the plastic platform and it still stinks after scrubbing am I
doing something wrong? Hot water and vinegar! or have you got a secret
formula

Thanks Jackie,
All the shelving is covered in "Contact" the stuff you use to cover kitchen
cupboards etc... It is very durable and washable (thank god).. I used it in
their old house and found it worked fine so I continued using it in their
new one. It was probably an expensive exercise though as it costs $6.95 a
roll here and is only 1.5 metres long... I used 8 rolls and have one spare
for any repairs that it might need.. I considered using Polyurethane but my
head can't stand the fumes of any paints etc ( also its quicker using
contact)...LMAO.

Actually just realised the babies are both Agoutis aren't they - was
thinking pic 1 in the Caesar and Amadeus album was of the two - that pic is
like Alvie and Fudge. Hmmm... didn't even notice the size difference, lol.
Aren't Agoutis lovely? I never realised until I had Fudge what a beautiful
coat they have.

I have always thought Agouti coats were like wee mini works of art... the
perfect mixing and blending of Autumn colours...:)
