My XM 250w 10kk bulb just came in and WOW
a big difference over the Ushio 10kk! Much brighter!!
And a very pleasing color.
It has a bigger "pill" and the bulb is also bigger (longer)
The glass seems nice and thick.

I using a PFO 250w standard ballast..

I noticed more of a differance, I switched from a coralife 175 6500K to a XM
175 10000K, what a beautiful lamp and the price is right, thank you
HelloLights http://www.hellolights.com/ (make sure you have the nipple at 3
or 9 o'clock, the lamp will be bluer and brighter) good lighting comparison
thread on RC.

Having "the nipple" at any time is fine (in my experience) :)

I second that, my mother breast fed me for over a year, for that year I had
the nipple any time I wanted it, LOL.

Thanks for the Nipple info!
I always thought it was an Iswaki 64KK wives tail. :-)
