28 Mexican Officials Charged in Illegal Hunting Scheme

The International Fund for Animal Welfare has welcomed a decision by the
Mexican Government in late January to pursue sanctions against 28 officials
involved in a massive illegal hunting scheme.

Although this person -may- work for anc.org they are posting from cv.net

You do realize that more than likely these illegal permits were simply a
case of money being skimmed. If the government had been given its cut we
would have heard nothing about this, same thing with the dolphins. Mexico is
not exactly concerned about animal populations unless there is an economic
interest in that population
