28 Mexican Officials Charged in Illegal Hunting Scheme

The International Fund for Animal Welfare has welcomed a decision by the
Mexican Government in late January to pursue sanctions against 28 officials
involved in a massive illegal hunting scheme.

    "The Government of Mexico should be commended," said Bugeda.
    "Millions of animals and sensitive ecosystems across the country
    are more secure today because of this enforcement action. IFAW
    looks forward to the announcement of administrative procedures
    and sanctions."

How many species involved in the illegal hunts were endangered species?
Which "sensitive ecosystems" were put in peril because of the illegal hunts?
