a number of my hard polyped corals seem to be getting holes/gaps in their base, the polyps/tentacles open very nice daily. i drip kalk daily, add liquid calcium,stront/molybedum 2x a week,iodine,trace elements,vitamins also 2x a week. any thoughts would be appreciated. ps- i dont test calcium levels since everything been lookin great 4 quite some time thanks Have you got any kind of crab or fish that may have taken a whack at them? -- reefman MC i have lots of snails & dwarf hermit crabs , 5 small reef safe fish Have the holes gotten bigger with time or are they staying the same size? -- reefman MC bigger over time Calcium is what helps corals hold their skeleton together.
