I have a pinpoint leak on the supply side of my mag pump it sounds like a calcium reactor and fills the tank with micro bubbles . I suspect it is the union because when I put water on it it sucks it in. Maybe it has the wrong sized O-ring. Can I use a thread sealing compound called select unyte virgin teflon by whitlam? It says nontoxic non-hardening and its for water lines among other things Thanks Kevin. I used similar stuff on all my threaded fittings. Bought it in the plumbing department at Lowes..
