Can any one give me an idea on what type of skimmer is good and at a
reasonable price.

Thanks

At the recommendation of some of the members of this group, I got an Aqua-C
Urchin a couple of months ago for my 30-gallon.  It was very easy to install
and it seems to be working very well.  About $150.

If you are looking for a HOB one, the AquaC Remora is relly good.  The
Urchin is generally used in sumps.

What sized tank and what is the total water volume?  Do you
want it in your sump or on the back of the tank?

EuroReef and Aqua C are both good skimmers.
