We unfortunately lost our long nosed hawkfish last night. She jumped
out of the tank and we found her lying dead behind the tank in the
morning. Not sure what happened.
One option is to just replace her, but we thought we would ask for
ideas for interesting fish (with character) that would be compatible
with our little community. We were planning to add another fish
anyway, so I guess we now have two vacancies.
Occupants at the moment are:
Percula clowns (x2)
African pigmy angel (orange back, blue body)
Four spot yellow wrasse
Dot-dash blenny
Pink scooter blenny
Cleaner wrasse
Banded corel (boxer) shrimp
Cleaner shrimp
Tiny blue legged hermit crab (hitched lift on corel frag)
Bubble anemone (clowns' best friend)
Various corels (approx x10)
We want to avoid anything that will grow too big and anything that
will be too territorial.
One option we were considering was losing the shrimps, which would
seem to open up more possibilities (e.g. puffers).
Any ideas for the (with or without shrimp) extension of our little
community?
first thing that comes to mind is a mandarin goby, which will survive off
your tank, but it may not be a frequent viewable fish, they seem to hide
away and survive in the depth i believe. when you do see it, its very
beautiful!
also, how about a royal gamma guys? those are cool, but not sure if it will
fit your needs, but i think it may,

You ain't seen nothing yet. Ever hear of a two way mirror? Your
monitor doubles as a video camera. Why do you think it's called a
"monitor"? We found this other thing, sorry, can't tell you what it's
called, but it's smaller than a tachion and faster! By transmitting
that across the time-space continuum, we reverse the flow of
electrons, thereby causing it to double as a camera. Pretty cool, eh?

Just in case anyone's interested, I hear there's a blue light special
on waders.

Please try to avoid analogies. You get them wrong every time.

In arguing for the enactment of civil rights legislation.

You're doing a poor job of backpedaling. Please try again.
