I have 48" bulbs - 4 of them for a total of 440 watts.  It is a VERY tight
fit in my lid and I'd like to switch to the 46.5" just to make it easier to
change them.  My problem is I have 2 spare 48" and so will it be a problem
mixing the the 48" and 46.5" ?  I suspect not since  they are the same
WATTAGE.  Can anyone confirm ?

Thanks!

That should not be a problem.  AFAIK!
