Anyone out there use one of these? I want to get an overflow but I want a
quite one. Anyone have any recomendations on a quite overflow?

sponges = nitrates....there is amod out there to make them silent

Hi there,
   what kind of mod have you been using? Do you have a link?

   So what overflow do you recomend? My wife right now hates my tank
because of the noise it makes (i have a glass 55g) without a built in
overflow. Any Suggestions on a brand?

Try 'googleing' Durso overflows, they are an easy DIY mod.and are
silent
              unclenorm.
