Good News!

Do you know how simple it is to go to Heaven after this
life has ended?

The good news is that God came from Heaven to earth
in the person of Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago and
died for our past, present and future sins(misdeeds).
He was born in the land of Israel supernaturally to a
virgin Jewish woman named Mary. He lived a sinless life
for thirty-three years and then sacrificed His sinless
blood and died on a cross to pay the death penalty for
our sins.

After Jesus died He rose from the dead three days later
as He said He would. The Holy Bible also tells us that
Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and that all who accept
Him as their Lord and Saviour will live forever with Him
in Heaven where there is no more death, sorrow, sickness
and pain.

The Holy Bible very clearly explains how simple it is
to be saved and on your way to Heaven, "For if you
confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe
in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you
WILL BE SAVED." (Romans 10:9)

You can be saved right now and on your way to Heaven if
you will open your heart to Jesus and pray the following
prayer:

Dear Jesus Christ, I want to be saved so that I can have
a home in Heaven when I die. I agree with You that I am a
sinner. I believe You love me and want to save me. I
believe that You bled and died on the cross to pay the
penalty for my sins. I believe that You rose from the dead.
Please forgive my sins and come into my heart and be my
Lord and Saviour. Thank You Lord Jesus Christ for
forgiving me and saving me through Your merciful grace.
Amen.

You are now a Christian if you said the prayer and allowed
God to save you. Welcome to the family of God.

If you decide to wait till later you may die before you get
another chance to be saved because none of us knows
exactly when we will die.

Have a great day!

No, God did not send big wave. God created a perfect world without death and
destruction. Man sinned. With sin came death. So, in actuality YOUR sin and
MY sin is responsible for the deaths of 250,000 people.

Christ came to pay the ultimate price for sin, death on the cross. He rose
again that we might live in newness of life. Receive Him today and you can
be saved from the law of sin and death. Man has been redeemed. The earth
will follow shortly.

I have been wondering how the supernaturalists reconcile the tsunami
thing with the their "almighty god" principle. I guess I am still left
wondering.

Come on Phil baby, you must be able to come up with a more lucid
argument than that. I really am curious. I personally can't think of
one logical hypothesis that can explain an all-loving all-powerful
being looking on whilst lots of innocent kids and others were swept to
their death.

Question: "Why does God allow natural disasters, i.e. earthquakes,
hurricanes, and tsunamis?"

Answer:  Why does God allow earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, tsunamis, and
other natural disasters? The recent tsunami tragedy in Asia has many people
questioning God's goodness. It is distressing that natural disasters are
often termed "acts of God" while no "credit" is given to God for years,
decades, or even centuries of peaceful weather. God created the whole
universe and the laws of nature (Genesis 1:1). Most natural disasters are a
result of these laws at work. Hurricanes, typhoons, and tornados are the
results of divergent weather patterns colliding. Earthquakes are the result
of the earth's plate structure shifting. A tsunami is caused by an
underwater earthquake.

The Bible proclaims that Jesus Christ holds all of nature together
(Colossians 1:16-17). Could God prevent natural disasters? Absolutely! Does
God sometimes influence the weather? Yes, see Deuteronomy 11:17 and James
5:17. Does God sometimes cause natural disasters as a judgment against sin?
Yes, see Numbers 16:30-34. The book of Revelation describes many events
which could definitely be described as natural disasters (Revelation
chapters 6, 8, and 16). Is every natural disaster a punishment from God?
Absolutely not.

In much the same way that God allows evil people to commit evil acts, God
allows the earth to demonstrate the consequences sin has had on Creation.
Romans 8:19-21 tells us, "The creation waits in eager expectation for the
sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration,
not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope
that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and
brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God." The fall of
humanity into sin had effects on everything, including the universe we
inhabit. Everything in Creation is subject to "frustration" and "decay." Sin
is the ultimate cause of natural disasters just as it is the cause of death,
disease, and suffering.

So, we are back to where we began. We can understand why natural disasters
occur. What we do not understand is why God allows them to occur. Why did
God allow the tsunami to kill over 225,000 people in Asia? I do not know.
What I do know is this.God is good! There are many amazing miracles that
occurred that prevented an even greater loss of life. The tsunami has caused
millions of people to reevaluate their priorities in life. Hundreds of
millions of dollars in aid is being sent from all over the world. Christian
ministries are pouring into the region to help, minister, counsel, and pray.
God can bring great good out of a terrible tragedy (Romans 8:28).

thumping A$$ for 2 minutes you would realize this.  I'm sorry 2000 year old
nursery rhymes and childrens stories don't equate to the existence of a
higher being, far too many loop holes.  Faith this, Belief that, blah, blah,
blah....  get a life and go to a religious newsgroup and keep you crap out
of a marine aquarium newsgroup.
Damned weirdos get weirder everyday.
