My hubby is paranoid about different worms in the tank, especially after
reading about 7 foot long ones found in aquariums (a little googling can be
a dangerous thing <g>).  He sets a bristle worm trap every night and goes on
a hunt (I know, bristle worms are our friend <g>) but he HATES them.  I get
a "worms trapped" count every morning almost before I get out of bed.  A few
nights ago a long, thin, white worm came out from a piece of rock.  It moved
very snake-like, would start to go into the trap, then pull out.  All we
could see was about a half inch of white worm, but hubby was on the hunt!
We didn't trap him that night and didn't see him the next one.  Last night
one of our little snails crawled into the cone shaped end of the bristle
worm trap and out came his "tongue" - a long thin white worm looking, snake-
like thing about an inch in length.  My hubby's white worm was the "tongue"
of a snail trying to get to the food inside the trap.
